Color print by Antoine Louis François Phelipeau after Philippe Caresme. A domestic everyday scene in which a young man and a woman in an elegant salon are surprised by an entering lady. The image is characterized by strong lighting effects against a dark background, and the interior with a fireplace and classical vase reflects the refined living style of around 1795.

A colored French print from 1786 titled LES DEUX BAISERS. In an artist’s studio, an older man sits in front of a painting while behind him a young woman in a white dress is secretly kissed by a young man. The scene includes details such as a guitar, an easel, and a small dog. Debucourt’s signature appears at the bottom.

The scene is detailed and rendered in a rich color palette. Bottom left: “Peint et gravée par De Bucourt peintre du Roy 1787”.

Color aquatint by Philibert Louis Debucourt (1787). A young couple stands at a rustic stone fountain in a woodland landscape. The girl leans thoughtfully on the fountain while the young man kneels holding a broken jug — a traditional symbol of lost virtue or mishap. A small dog jumps up on the fountain. A rake lies in the foreground, suggesting interrupted rural work.

A colored copper engraving from 1782 by Heinrich Sintzenich after Carlo Dolci. It depicts a young woman named Phyllis in a blue dress holding a white lamb in her arms. Beneath the rectangular frame are lengthy text passages in German script, a dedication to Elector Carl Theodor, and a central heraldic crest.

Ein hochformatiges Porträt in Schwarz-Weiß (Radierung) einer sitzenden Frau mit dem Titel „Henrietta Frances Viscountess Duncannon“. Sie trägt ein prachtvolles Kleid und einen großen Federhut, während sie in einem Buch liest. Unten links steht „Drawn by Lavinia Countess Spencer“, unten rechts „Fr. Bartolozzi Etchd“. Die Verlagszeile nennt London und das Jahr 1787.

Color aquatint by Janinet after Hubert Robert. The ruins of Pope Julius III’s palace are used as a stable with hay, ladders, and working animals. People load supplies in the foreground. The technique creates soft tonal washes reminiscent of a drawing.
